Our Story
Freelancing in India is no longer just a side hustle — it’s becoming a full-time career choice. From designers and writers to developers and marketers, thousands of professionals are stepping away from traditional jobs to build independent careers. While the freedom is exciting, it also brings new challenges: irregular income, confusing taxes, uncertain savings, and the constant worry of “am I managing my money right?”
That’s where WealthWali comes in. Founded in 2025, we started with a simple mission: to help freelancers in India become financially educated, make smarter money decisions, and build long-term wealth.
Why We Exist
We noticed one big gap: while there are countless finance blogs out there, very few truly understand the unique needs of freelancers. Traditional financial advice often assumes a fixed monthly salary. But freelancers don’t work like that. Your income may fluctuate, projects come and go, and sometimes money arrives late.
At WealthWali, we want to bridge that gap. Whether it’s learning how to manage variable income, figuring out the right investments, or staying on top of taxes, we create resources that speak directly to the freelancer experience.

About Ritesh Yengkhom
I'm Ritesh — I've freelanced for over five years, largely through Upwork, and I'm the writer behind WealthWali. I have a B.Com from Delhi University, but most of what's on this site came from somewhere else: chasing late invoices, guessing at tax, and learning the hard way what nobody tells you about freelancing in India. Everything here is what I've actually used, paid for, or gotten wrong myself. Where something needs a CA or a lawyer, I'll say so plainly instead of pretending I know more than I do.
Our Vision
We dream of a future where no freelancer feels insecure about money. Where leaving a traditional job doesn’t mean giving up on stability, but instead opens the door to financial independence and long-term wealth.
Freelancing is freedom. And with the right financial habits, it can also be security. WealthWali is here to make that possible.
Why “WealthWali”?
Because freelancers in India deserve a trusted partner in their financial journey. WealthWali exists to make money less intimidating and more empowering — helping you manage income, save smarter, invest wisely, and build real wealth with confidence.
